The
Wailin' Jennys
Friday,
April 11, 2008 | 8 PM
Soprano
Ruth Moody (banjo, accordion, bodhran, guitar), mezzo Nicky
Mehta (harmonica, percussion, guitar) and alto Heather Masse,
together with guest fiddler Jeremy Penner, incorporate bluegrass
and Celtic music into their own unique, dynamic style. The Jennys
have made numerous visits to the widely broadcast NPR radio
show 'A Prairie Home Companion' with Garrison Keillor. Seamless
three-part harmonies contribute to a distinctive overall sound
that is the trio’s alone. www.thewailinjennys.com
