Who said math was boring?! Prepare to be dazzled and bewildered by Cahoots’ Danny Carmo’s Mathematical Mysteries, a spectacular show where math, theater, and digital technology collide in a fun and interactive performance for young audiences at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center.
Danny Carmo’s Mathematical Mysteries is a large scale magic show which proves that mathematical principles are often the secrets behind the world’s most impressive illusions! Danny Carmo once thought that school and, in particular, math wasn’t for him. He was more interested in dreaming about a future on the stage and perhaps the big screen – all he ever wanted to be was a famous magician! When Danny knuckled down to learn all the tricks of the trade he realized that math was not only essential, but was the SECRET to a whole load of magic! Danny Carmo’s Mathematical Mysteries highlights the intrinsic links between magic and math – skills fine tuned by real life magicians in order to really make the magic happen.
