Hoist the mainsail and prepare to LEARN — because there’s nothing on the high seas quite like Pirate School! The Science of Pirates.

Veteran physical comedian David Engel transforms into bumbling pirate professor Billy Bones, turning the LPAC stage into a swashbuckling laboratory. Students explore the real science of seafaring — atmospheric pressure, wind and currents, aerodynamics, simple machines, navigation, and (of course) the flight of a cannonball — all aligned to Next Generation Science Standards.

Eye-popping puppetry. Slapstick swordplay. The world’s only wearable pirate ship. A treasure to discover.
