You know him from CBS — as Officer Mike Biggs in the long-running hit Mike & Molly, as Bob in Bob Hearts Abishola opposite Folake Olowofoyeku in Chuck Lorre’s acclaimed romantic comedy, and from memorable turns in Young Sheldon, the Coen Brothers’ Bad Santa, and the CMT series Sun Records as Col. Tom Parker. Now Pittsburgh native Billy Gardell brings the stand-up that started it all to the LPAC stage.

A Daytime Emmy nominee for hosting Monopoly Millionaires Club and a veteran of comedy specials including Billy Gardell: Halftime on Comedy Central and Billy Gardell Presents Road Dogs on Showtime, Gardell took the long road to Hollywood — with stops at every small-town lounge, military base, and comedy club along the way. That mileage shows up onstage. His grounded, down-to-earth point of view strikes a strong chord with American audiences, and his stories about a rough childhood, a wild adolescence, and new family life are executed with the skill of a master craftsman.
