When Steve Fossen and Michael Derosier — bassist and drummer for Heart through the band’s iconic 1970s and early 1980s era — take the LPAC stage with Heart by Heart, you’re not hearing a tribute. You’re hearing the source.

Both were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the original Heart lineup in 2013. Now, joined by powerhouse vocalist Somar Macek, they tour as Heart by Heart with a clear mission. “Our mission is to perform the classic Heart music as faithfully as we can,” Fossen says — and that’s exactly what audiences get: “Barracuda,” “Straight On,” “Crazy on You,” “Magic Man,” “Even It Up,” “Kick It Out,” and the deep album cuts true fans love.

This is rock and roll played by the people who helped invent it. Live, loud, and from the heart.
