Since 2000, the National Alliance of Faith and Justice (NAFJ) has designated Justice Sunday as a national movement for change, calling communities to sustained service in honor of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy of selfless commitment to the betterment of humanity. Justice Sunday also uplifts mentoring as a vital act of service, recognizing its power to improve the lives of underserved youth and adults; supporting academic success, easing the transition into adulthood, and enriching life experiences. This year’s Justice Sunday Play, presented by the Just Us Arts Initiative, celebrates a decade of youth-led productions while honoring local legends whose lasting impact continues to shape our community.
